Carrara Marble Double Bear Fetish – Todd Westika – Zuni

This large and beautiful double bear Fetish was created by Todd Westika, who is Zuni. It was made from Carrara Marble and has a big Lapis Arrowhead on its back and some Coral beads also and the eyes are sterling silver.  The bears  are 2 1/2″ wide and 1 1/4″ tall. Todd is known for always using exotic stones for his fetishes.  This fetish could make a beautiful wedding gift.                                                                                                                    Todd won numerous awards for his work, including many from the Museum of Northern Arizona. In recent years his excellent work has been rewarded by being featured in several books about Zuni Fetishes. His dolomite buffalo was selected to graze the cover of the book “A Guide to Zuni Fetishes and Carvings, Vol. 2”, by Kent McManis. His work is in various galleries and National Park stores throughout this country. His newest honor has been his appointment to the Zuni Arts Certification Commission.
