This gorgeous vintage Zuni eagle pin brooch was crafted by seasoned Zuni artist Eva Etsate, renowned for her intricate channel inlay technique. The pendant/pin features a majestic eagle motif, symbolizing strength and spirituality, and includes a bail allowing it to be worn as a necklace. Eva Etsate has a long-standing tradition of creating bird-themed jewelry since the 1960s, with this piece likely dating from the 1980s or later. Made entirely by hand, this piece showcases the distinctive Zuni inlay style, utilizing materials such as turquoise, coral, mother of pearl, and onyx. The pendant is 1 1/4″ tall and 5/8″ wide and Zuni made.
