She is the Mother who nourishes all beings be they kachinas, humans, everyone. Hahai’i Wuhti is considered the Katsina Grandmother, who, like Crow Mother, is the mother of all Kachinas. She is 11″ tall, an Old Style Kachina, which is made to be hung on the wall. This Kachina is by Martin Poola, from First Mesa and a member of the Sand and Snake Clan. This talented young man is accomplished in both contemporary and Old Style dolls, and is hoping to show his work at the next Hopi Show, for the first time. She is carved in an extremely traditional style. Martin is incredibly inventive and creative, and all of his dolls have a special sense of spirit.
