“I’m running low on medicines” says Grandma Mindy. At once, Lily, Ogimaa, and Ellie are ready to help. Together they will travel Mashkiki Road – the road where the medicines grow – in search of sage and cedar for Grandma. Bear introduces them to the Seven Grandfather Teachings. He teaches courage, further along is Bigfoot who represents honesty. Then there is buffalo who encourages respect. Further along they meet wolf, beaver, eagle and turtle, who extend their own lessons. They offer tobacco, give thanks, and gather just the amount of sage and cedar that Grandma needs. Juvenile ages 3-7.
