Description
A white writer is summoned by a Lakota Elder who asks him to write a book about his perspective. After a blundering false start, he is all but kidnapped and sucked into a road trip through the Native landscape. Stopping off at key landmarks, the Elder and his companion try to educate him in their ways, without falling prey to white men’s guilt-ridden cliches of glorifying an Indigenous race. Based on the book by Kent Nerburn. Starring Dave Bald Eagle and many other Native American actors. 110 minutes.
