While the serape is now very common to both Spanish and Native American textiles, it actually has its roots in the Mexican weaving tradition. It is lighter in weight than the other Pendleton blankets. This shawl has 4″ fringe and is often used as a dance shawl in Native American ceremonies. 82% wool, 18% cotton. Dry clean. Made in the USA. The shawl is 66″ x 68″.
