Description
“Shadow” begins in A.D. 1180 in the prehistoric culture of the Sinagua Indians in northern Arizona. When Shadow’s stern father, Stone Carrier, and beloved twin brother, Sun, do not return from a quarrying trip, she knows that something is wrong. Thirteen-year-old Shadow must find the courage to leave the safety of her village. Ages 9-12.
