Description
For this wheat stitch Tohono O’odham basket the plant materials are hand gathered from the Sonoran Desert for weaving. The interior coils (warp) are native Beargrass and the white stitches (weft) woven around the coils and basket rim are sun-bleached Soaptree Yucca. It is 7″ in diameter and 3 1/2″ high.
