In an age when many tribal singing styles are blending together, groups are seeking the latest songs, and songs are traveling rapidly from tribe to tribe, some singers still enjoy the old-time styles and songs. Such are the Ho Hwo Sju Lakota Singers from Red Scaffold, South Dakota. The unique singing style of this group is from the classic Lakota style of many years ago, and is rarely heard in the Northern Plains today.
