Michael Kanteena (born September 1, 1959) is a famous potter from Laguna Pueblo, New Mexico. He is best known for his pottery inspired by Chaco, Mesa Verde and other Ancestral Pueblo pottery. Kanteena also makes pottery inspired by historic Kachina dolls and Kachina masks. This is an absolutely beautiful piece of art. Michael uses all natural pigments for his paints and brushes made from yucca plant. He specializes in replicas of prehistoric pottery and Figurines.
This Hopi Kachina canteen has painted Hopi symbols and it symbolizes a Hopi Kachina. The canteen is 6″ tall and 4″ wide.
