Darrick Tsosie is the son of Leonard Tsosie and Emily Fragua-Tsosie. He learned the art of making pottery the traditional way from his mother at an early age and he continues in her tradition of producing figures, storytellers and nativities. That said, it made a big difference for his business after he developed his feline and canine series of figures, storytellers and nativities.

Darrick’s work is on display at the Eiteljorg Museum of the American Indian in Indianapolis and at the Smithsonian Museum of the American Indian in Washington DC. Some of his pieces have been included in the White House Permanent Collection.

This Santa is holding a child and he has a big bag of gifts over his shoulder. Santa is 7″ tall and 3 1/2″ wide.
